White Fudge Frosting

2/3  cup butter or margarine
1  cup granulated sugar
1/3  cup milk
3  cups powdered sugar
1/2  tsp. vanilla
1/2  tsp. almond extract


Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add granulated sugar and blend and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.  Add milk and cook until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. Gradually beat in powdered sugar. When frosting is creamy and of good spreadable consistency, add the vanilla and almond extract.
