Spiced Apple Pound Cake
Michelle won a ribbon at the fair for this yummy cake.
2-1/4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs
1 cup butter
8 oz. spiced apple yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in bowl. Blend at low speed. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into well greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60-65 minutes or until cake springs back when touched. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan. Combine ingredients for glaze, beating until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake and sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired. This recipe is good with different flavors of yogurt.
