Philly Brunch Cake
This moist cake with a streusel topping is from Michelle.
1/2 cup margarine
1 tsp. soda
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1-1/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sifted cake flour
Crumb Mixture:
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup cake flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. margarine
Thoroughly blend margarine, cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Sift together dry ingredients; add alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. Pour into a greased and floured 13x9-inch pan. Combine ingredients for crumb mixture and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
