Pesto Sauce

From Joey's kitchen.


3 cups loosely packed fresh basil
3 cloves garlic
1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese
1/8 cup pine nuts


In a blender or food processor combine all ingredients except pine nuts. Process to the consistency of cream. Turn the mixture into a bowl and stir in the pine nuts. Spoon the desired amount onto cooked pasta and serve. Freeze any leftover sauce.
