Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
Michelle's family likes these chewy cookies.
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
12 oz. chocolate chips
Mix the flour with baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. Beat the butter, peanut butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in milk and vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture until blended. Fold in the oatmeal and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfulls 1 1/2-in. apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned. Let stand 2 min. on cookie sheets, then remove to wire racks. Makes 8 dozen 2-inch cookies.
