Hungry Jack Beef Casserole
Michelle's family really likes this casserole with biscuits baked • on top. From Berthe Mineart's kitchen.
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
16 oz. can pork and beans
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
1 can (9.5 oz.) Hungry Jack Refrigerated Flaky Biscuits
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown beef; drain. Stir in salt, pork and beans, brown sugar and onion.; heat until bubbly; pour into 2 qt. casserole. Čut biscuits in half to form 20 half circles. Place cut-side-down around the edge of casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown. Serves 4 to 6.
