Flavor Fresh Strawberry Jam
This quick and easy jam from Mo can be stored in fridge up to 6 weeks.
2 10 oz. pkgs frozen strawberries
3/4 cup water
2-3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 pkg. MCP pectin
Thaw berries in large bowl. Add sugar and stir until well mixed. Let stand over night or until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. When sugar is dissolved, add lemon juice. Boil the pectin with water for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the boiled pectin to berries. Stir 3 minutes. Pour into sterilized glasses. Cover and let stand 24 hours; then store in fridge. Lasts 4 to 6 weeks.
