Mo says there is only one word to describe this candy. Yum !!


2-2/3  cups sugar
2/3  cup light corn syrup
1/2  cup water (use 1 Tbsp. less on humid day.)
2  egg whites
1  tsp. vanilla
2/3  cup nuts


Heat sugar, corn syrup and water in 2 qt. pan, over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Cook without stirring to 260 degrees (soft ball). Remove from heat. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Continue beating while pouring syrup in thin stream into egg whites. Add vanilla. Beat until mixture holds shape and becomes slightly dull. Fold in nuts. drop by greased spoonfuls or spread in pan.
