Toasted Almond Spread
Michelle serves this with assorted crackers or toasted bread cut-outs.
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
11/2 cups (6 oz.) swiss cheese, shredded
1/3 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Spread mixture into 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring after 8 minutes. Garnish with additional toasted almonds, if desired. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
